It’s up to us as parents to incorporate acts of kindness into our child’s life on a daily basis. Let’s encourage and teach them to be kind to others and show them that even the simplest acts can make a positive difference in someone’s day.
Here are 30 ways kids can be kind to others:
- Say “please” and “thank you” when asking for or receiving something.
- Hold the door open for someone.
- Offer to help a friend or family member with a task.
- Share toys or snacks with others.
- Compliment someone on something they did well.
- Say something nice or encouraging to someone who seems down or upset.
- Listen actively when someone is talking to you.
- Apologize and make amends when you make a mistake.
- Invite someone to play or join in an activity.
- Smile and greet people warmly.
- Write a thank-you note to someone who has helped you.
- Offer to help carry someone’s bags or groceries.
- Make a special effort to include someone who is new or different.
